NELNET - because your call is not at all important

I still owe student loans.
I pay $65.00 a month and have paid it for centuries.

In the past they've been, like most other companies, a little elusive when you want to speak with them, but they have been contactable if you really needed them.
You know how you call a company nowadays and go through the circular recording hell and sometime or other you get to a real human who can actually help. Well Nelnet used to be that way.
This morning I needed to talk with them for assistance. I went through the circular thing - come to think of it, it never did say "Your call is important to us".
I went through that recording time after time and I can assure you there is no way you can get to a real human being.
I looked online for other contact numbers for Nelnet. All of them end up back at the circular hell. So I sent them an email saying I wanted to talk with a Nelnet representative. Here is the response:

Dear Robert Hohulski,
Thank you for contacting Nelnet.
We understand your frustration from experiencing difficulty getting to a representative through our automated system. Unfortunately, there is not a specific route through the prompts to advise you of that will lead you to a representative. The automated system is discretionary, following the prompts in the phone system will transfer you to an advisor only when determined necessary.

I responded in an unfriendly manner. With all caps. Didn't help me at all.
I can't believe that a company gives me what they think is a good excuse to keep from talking with a frustrated customer.
Unbelievable.

I recommend you NEVER do business with Nelnet.
They clearly do not care when a customer needs their help.
