Lest we forget, February is National Condom Month.
I'm sure that many of you will find it beneficial to know; free condoms will be available at HOPE, a non-profit organization located in midtown Tulsa. And at the Tulsa County Health Center, Planned Parenthood (the place where we plan to NOT be parents) and at certain gay bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Don't ask me why they pass them out at restaurants - I only know what I read in the papers and this email was prompted by a story in the Tulsa Community College "TCC Connection" newspaper which bragged that we can also get free rubbers at TCC's Student Health Services office.
I wonder too, if the placing of National Condom Month smack dab in the middle of February - Love Month - was accidental or planned. Sometimes you wonder if there would be fewer couples celebrating Love Month if they had paid more attention to Condom Month.
Well anyway, last night I rummaged through the closets and found that old raincoat. I also gathered up some galoshes and some balloons. I'll be decked out in style when I arrive at work tomorrow all uniformed up for the festivities of NCM.
I would also like to take this opportunity to announce that, every hour on the hour I'll be demonstrating the proper use of condoms to all people who wish to have a little personal instruction. The Classes will be held on the sixth floor of the TCC conference center located at 41st and Sheridan and refreshments will be served.
